Abstract: In recent years, the great advance has achieved for slope stability analysis method.The deterministic analysis methods, including graphic method, limit equilibrium theory, numerical analysis method and compound method, are developed.The recent progress of the slope stability analysis methods is analyzed in this paper and the advantages and disadvantages of new method of various analytical methods are pointed out.With the advent of computer technology and the software application, comprehensive use of various methods becomes the development direction of slope stability analysis.
