Abstract: Enterprises are the major participants of economic production, and they must bear the social responsibility of protecting the environment while creating wealth. This paper analyzes the current situation of enterprises’ environmental responsibility and development trend of the green economy in China in recent years. It takes 16 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) in the eastern, central and western regions as research objects, and studies the relationship between enterprises' environmental responsibility and the development of green economy by using the relevant data from 2010 to 2017 through stata14.0 panel model. The results show that there is a positive relationship between the two. Based on the research, this paper puts forward suggestions to promote the development of green economy from the perspective of relevant government departments and corporate environmental responsibility.
