Purpose/MeaningAt present, most study on social stability risk assessment covers risk assessment indicators and risk rating, which focus on the process of risk assessment, instead of process of safeguarding implementation.This paper aims at building a perfect risk assessment mechanism for the social stability of major projects.

Method/ProcessThis paper begins with the five components of the social stability risk assessment mechanism of major projects and their roles.Then it analyzes the contents of each term, determines specific measures for implementation, and constructs the main framework.Finally, this paper puts forward the areas to be improved and worthy of further study based on the research of risk assessment mechanism of social stability of major projects.

Results/ConclusionThis paper argues that the risk assessment mechanism of social stability of major projects is composed of five parts:evaluation subject, evaluation object, evaluation index, evaluation method and supervision system.On the basis of specific analysis and assessment of the work "who does, to whom is done, what to do, how to do, implementation methods" and other issues, this paper builds a perfect mechanism of steady assessment.
