Abstract: To develop emergency industry and expand emergency products supply is an important basis for improving emergency response capacity. This paper takes field investigation to investigate market demand, supply and industrial layout of emergency industry in Sichuan Province, and then uses SWOT method to analyze the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges in the development of emergency industry in Sichuan. Based on the analysis, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the following aspects: to perfect the layout of emergency industry, to enhance policy support, to strengthen the construction of emergency culture, to promote emergency science and technology research and development, and to improve talent training, in order to push forward the development of emergency industry and upgrade the emergency response ability of Sichuan Province.
