Purpose/significanceCivilian participating in the military is one of the two main forms of civil-military integration. As a large province of military industry, Sichuan is the major position and experimental field for civil-military integration. To solve the problem of civilian participating in the military in Sichuan is conducive not only to the deep civil-military integration and development, but also to summarizing and popularizing the experience of the demonstration area, promoting the sound development of civil-military integration in the whole country.

Method/processTaking Sichuan people's military enterprises as an research object, through literature review and theoretical analysis, this paper makes an in-depth study on the current development of Sichuan people's military enterprise.

Results/conclusionsThe results show that Sichuan people's military enterprises enjoy sound development on the whole, but some problems exist, such as inequality in status, imperfect system and mechanism, and poor information communication. Measures such as setting up integration of defense and civilian technologies' overall concept, strengthening top-level design, and improving the system and mechanism can improve the efficiency of civilian participating in the military and promote the deep integration of soldiers and civilians in Sichuan.
