Abstract: This paper proposes a new fuzzy number ranking method based on fuzzy number value and left and right deviation degree, and introduces parameters λ to measure whether the ranking index contains deviation degree. Secondly, the properties of the sorting method, such as reflexivity, antisymmetry and transitivity, are studied. Finally, numerical examples are illustrated and the result show that the proposed ranking method can overcome some limitations of other met-hods and has certain advantages.
