磷酸酯与蒙脱土协效阻燃rPET/PC合金的研究
Synergistic Flame Retardant Effect of Phosphate Ester and Montmorillonite on Recycled PET and PC Alloys

摘要: 通过极限氧指数(LOI)、力学性能测试、热重分析(TGA)和扫描电镜(SEM)分析表征手段, 研究了磷酸酯(PX-220)及其与蒙脱土(MMT)协效阻燃对rPET/PC合金材料的阻燃性能和力学性能的影响。结果表明, 单独添加15%PX-220后, 阻燃材料的氧指数达到27%;将2%MMT与15%PX-220并用, 阻燃合金材料的氧指数提高到29%, 但力学性能下降明显。TG分析表明, PX-220与MMT共同作用使阻燃材料的起始分解温度比未加入阻燃剂rPET/PC合金材料的降低, 在失重约20%后阻燃材料的热失重速率减小, 最终残炭量增加。SEM显示炭层更加完整、致密地覆盖了整个燃烧表面。Abstract: The effect of phosphate ester(PX-220) and its flame retardant synergism with Montmorillonite(MMT) on the flame-retardant properties and mechanical properties of recycled PET(rPET) and PC alloys was investigated by means of limiting oxygen index, mechanical properties testing, thermo-gravimetic analysis and scanning electron microscopic observation.The results showed that adding only 15% phosphate ester into the rPET / PC alloy, the oxygen index was up to 27%, and its oxygen index further increased to 29% when 2% MMT and 15% PX-220 was simultaneously used to fill rPET / PC alloy.However, there was an obvious decrease in mechanical properties.The thermo-gravimetic analysis indicated that the initial decomposition temperature of flame retardant materials modified with PX-220 and MMT together was lower than that of rPET / PC alloy without flame retardants, and that the thermal weight loss rate reduced after thermal weight loss was about 20% and the final char residue increased significantly.SEM images displayed that char residue layer was more integrated and dense to cover the burning surface of flame retarded material.
