基于小波变换和神经网络的线路保护启动方法

Starting Method of Line Protection Based on Wavelet Transform and Neural Network

  • 摘要: 为满足特高压输电线路超高速保护的要求,结合小波变换原理和神经网络原理,提出一种新的特高压输电线路保护的启动方法。该方法运用小波变换检测突变信号的原理,提取故障特征量,并以此作为神经网络的输入,设计启动神经网络,以判断输电线路的运行状态(正常或故障),进而决定是否启动故障选相装置。在PSCAD建立特高压输电系统仿真模型,仿真结果表明:该启动方法能准确判断输电线路运行状态,动作快速、灵敏且不受过渡电阻、故障位置、故障初始角以及噪声干扰的影响,在特高压输电线路超高速保护方面有一定的实用价值。

     

    Abstract: To meet the requirements of the ultra-high speed protection on UHV transmission lines, this paper proposes a new starting algorithm based on wavelet transform and neural network. This algorithm uses the principle that the wavelet transform can detect mutations in the signal and extracts the features of fault signals as the inputs and designs a starting neural network, which can judge the line running state from the output to determine whether start the fault phase selector. By simulating UHV transmission line system in PSCAD, it is proved that the proposed algorithm can detect the fault accurately and output the reliable action quickly. It's also not influenced by fault resistance, fault location, fault inception angle and noise interference. It has a practical value for ultra-high speed protection of UHV transmission lines.
