Abstract: In this paper, we introduce asymptotically pseudocontractive type semigroups and implicit iteration sequence, and prove the strong convergence theorem of implicit iteration sequence of common fixed points for asymptotically pseudocontractive type semigroups in Banach spaces, which extend the results of Thakur et al. to the case of asymptotically pseudocontractive type semigroups and the more extensive implicit iteration sequence.
