Abstract:
In order to improve the anti-collision of the guardrail anti-collision end terminal(ACET), this paper sets up the equivalent topological optimization model by combining with the idea of orthogonal design and designs a kind of ACET.Based on the hybrid cellular automata (HCA) method, the topological optimization analysis of the crash-worthiness was implemented, and the topological configurations of several different energy-absorption cavity structures were obtained.Then the energy-absorption capacity of different cross-sectional topological configurations was analyzed toacquire the optimal topological configuration.The experiment results show that the ACET of the optimal cross-sectional topological configuration is capable to meet the collision requirement of errant vehicle at the speed of 100 km/h. The ACET total length is no more than 4m, and a small-light-weight design is achieve.
