Abstract: With the development of network technology,the scale of a network becomes larger and the network structure is more complex.In order to enhance network management,it is needed to supervise and forecast the traffic of IP network.In this paper,in response to these circumstances,the traffic data was captured in accordance with the netflow protocol and the optimal design of the network,an IP traffic capture system was designed.Then,a support vector machine-based traffic prediction method was proposed.The experimental results show that the method is effective and feasible.
