Abstract: The application research of alternative fuels and clean vehicle technology plays an important strategic role for ensuring national energy security and reducing vehicle emissions.This paper analyses the main types of alternative fuels,their characteristics,existing problems and applications at home and abroad,discusses the application and developing tendency of clean vehicle technology,and then draws a conclusion that the diversity of energy sources is favor of promoting the application of clean vehicles.
