Abstract:
In order to synthesize 2-chloro-N-phenylbenzamide and evaluate its antifugal activity against
Rhizoctonia solani and
Sclerotiua sclerotiorum, 2-Chloro-N-phenylbenzamide was synthesized with 2-chloro-benzoyl chloride and aniline by acyl halide aminolysis reaction. Its structure was confirmed by IR and
1HNMR.The plate growth rate method was used to test its inhibition rate of growth against
R.solani and
S.sclerotiorum using carbendazim as comparison.2-Chloro-N-phenylbenzamide showed good inhibitory effect on mycelia of
R.solani and
S.sclerotiorum.Its
IC50 values were 5.00 mg/L and 6.38 mg/L respectively. The synthesized 2-chloro-N-phenylbenzamide will lay a good foundation for researching and developing new plant pathogenic fungicides with high effect, low toxicity and safety to non-target organisms.
