Abstract: Aiming at the issue of threshold setting by using wavelet transform image denoising, this paper presents a new method for selecting threshold value based on the classical method of wavelet soft and hard threshold denoising.The algorithm adopts a correction factor to construct a new thresholding to adjust the constant deviation of soft and hard threshold.Simulation result obtained form software Matlab shows that the method overcomes the shortcomings of the soft and hard threshold method, and remarkably enhances the denoising effect.
