Abstract:
The variation of the inside air temperature of a car in sunshine is experimentally researched, and the comparison of the inside air temperatures of the car between with and without window tinted is also conducted.Furthermore, based on the concentration sampling method and the gas chromatography(GC) analyzing, the effect of the sample condition on the inside air formaldehyde content is investigated. The experimental results show that the maximum air temperature appears nearly at 13:30 p.m..The temperature of air near the windshield glass is the highest compared with that of other interior position, and the measured maximum temperature is up to 66.1 ℃, while the air temperature at the positions above the driver seat and the rear seat has small deviation. When the car is parking, the inside air temperature of the car with window tinted is higher than that of the car without window tinted. For the high temperature can accelerate the release of the formaldehyde, which is greatly affected by the engine waste heat and the sunshine, the measured formaldehyde content at the place near the windshield glass is more than that of the position above the rear seat. The added decoration, such as the seat cushion, can serve to be another formaldehyde releasing source.
