Abstract:
The current study had found that anti-obesity elements of chemical composition in a variety of natural spices, such as capsaicin, capsinoids, piperine, evodiamine, allyl isothiocyanate, gingerol, etc.. We focuses on the sources of these anti-obesity agents and the mechanisms of anti-obesity function by TRPV1. The sources and mechanisms of different kinds of anti-obesity agents indicate that future research for screening anti-obesity component from food is likely to focus on natural spices.
