Abstract: Coarse aggregate collected from four yards is used for SMA-13 Marshall test, and performance examination for SMA-13 is conducted. The test results show that the proportions for four kinds of coarse aggregate have great difference. Obviously, the coarse aggregate has great influence on the proportion of SAM13. So during the production process of SMA asphalt mixture, experience judgment can not be employed according to the former optimum proportion, the corresponding test should be carried out to determine the specific proportion.
