Abstract: A system of public broadcasting and background music is installed, which offers high technical means of intelligence for the management and service of a community, and provides a safe and comfortable living environment for the community. It has active and realistic significance. The paper first introduces the design of the system index and the function requirements, then summarizes the digital IP network broadcast of characteristics and finally performs the design of the public broadcasting and background music system. This new design has many advantages comparing to the traditional broadcast system, such as more strong functions, better sound quality, and more convenient installation.
