Optimization of an Auto-Carrier Transportation Daily Planning in View of Supply Chain

  • Whole manufacturers are core of the decision of domestic commercial vehicle transportation chain. Daily planning depends on experiments of planner, and concerns supply chain mostly. Current studies focus on minimization of delivery cost from point view of carrier, but the results keep a long distance from practice. A model is set up and it concerns the maximization value of supply chain by taking consideration of actual facts, such as delivery value, carrier management, full-load ratio, limit on unload, which are key elements from point view of sale logistics. Daily planning are divided into vehicle allocating and order distributing two stages, , and the scale of solving is reduced remarkably. Examples show the effectiveness of our models, and systems based on ILOG CPLEX gives strong backing to planners.
