Optimization and Simulation of Elimination of Even Order Harmonics Based on SVPWM Vector Control

  • In order to eliminate the even harmonic vector control, the reasons causing even order harmonics are analyzed, and a novel SVPWM algorithm, which can eliminate the even harmonics and reduce the switching losses, is put forward. In the algorithm, the seven-stages-switch order is replaced by the five-stages-switch order to reduce the number of order switch. As a result, the switch loss is reduced, and even order harmonics is eliminated as well. The simulation testing is carried out by using Matlab/Simulink. The experimental results show that the algorithm is valid and feasible.
