Folk Confucius Concept of Harmony between Nature and Human in the Social Transition of Late Qing Dynasty—Case Study of Taigu School

  • Zhou Taigu, and Zhang Jizhong are considered as representatives of Taigu School, a school of folk Confucians in the social transition of Late Qing Dynasty. They summarized the knowledge of the universe and human society on the basis of traditional Confucius concept of nature and human, and then constructed a unique philosophy of harmony between nature and human.
