Abstract
This study conducted a three-week-long learning model experiment where students of non-English major taught themselves College English lessons in class with the help of teacher's instruction before class and evaluation after teaching. And then student questionaire was taken to check the learnig effect. The results show that students are more active in class, their creative thinking and oral expression have been improved in the process of autonomous teaching and learning. Therefore, student automous teaching is an effective learning model.
