On Xu Yuanchong's Translation of Poetry: An Eco-translatological Perspective

This paper explores Xu Yuanchong's translation of poetry from an eco-translatological perspective different from the previous researches. The study shows that embodied in Xu's translation thoughts and practice are the following eco-translatological ideas: "harmonious unity" of translational eco-systems; translator's action of "adaptation and selection"; "selection through elimination" in the process of translating; translator's pursuance to"doing things with translation".
