Cognitive Analysis of the Linear Order of Adjectives Modifiers to Nouns

Nouns modified by several adjectives is very common in English. On the basis of previous researches, this paper uses the principle of Distance Iconicity to illustrate the linear order of adjectives modifiers in the following three aspects: from the subjective to the objective; from perception to cognition; from the outside to the inside.
