A Chinese-English Bilingual Study on Syntagmatic Relations of Sentence

Chunks as main unit, this paper studies simple sentence and puts forward inter-syntagmatic relations, split-syntagmatic relations and sub-syntagmatic relations, etc. Simple sentence and clause as main unit, this paper studies compound sentence, complex sentence, the sentence pattern of there be and absolute structure, and puts forward sub-syntagmatic relations, subordinate-syntagmatic relations and union-syntagmatic relations. The bilingual comparative study enriches syntagmatic relations.
