On the Relationship Between Sex Ratio in Graded Education and Economic Growth

  • According to the existing human capital theory, human capital of various educational levels is irreplaceable, on the basis of which the essay has examined the effect of sex difference in graded education on the economic growth. Guided by theories and based on the data(2001—2014) from 30 inland provinces or regions, the essay has made an empirical study by setting up static-dynamic panel & spatial computation models. The findings are: the higher the male ratio in the workers with primary educational level, the higher the economic growth efficiency; the higher the female ratio in the workers with secondary-higher educational level, the higher the economic growth efficiency.
