Overview of Research on Zhang Shi:Achievement and Insufficiency

Zhang Shi is the famous philosopher, educator and litterateur of the Southern-Song Dynasty. He had made outstanding contribution to philosophy, literature, education and Confucian school, which raised wide concern. In recent forty years, There are a lot of research about Zhang Shi, including his philosophic thought, education thought, his relationship with Huxiang school, his friendship with Zhu Xi, his literary achievement and so on. Despite the great achievements, there is still much room for improvement, such as the teacher-pupil relationship, friendship, literature study.
