The Functional Expression and Diachronic Development of "Shao Buliao" and "Mian Buliao"

The synonymous constructions of "shao buliao" and "mian buliao" have different features in functional expression and modal characteristics, which needs to be studied from the modality of events, bias of pragmatics, realization of popular style. From the abstraction of meaning, "shao buliao" has changed from an objective state to a subjective evaluation and "mian buliao" has changed from an objective emphasis to a subjective evaluation, which are concrete examples of the increasing of modalization and subjectivization of adverbs.
