Abstract:
The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic has triggered people’s stress responses and disrupted people’s daily lives, which inevitably causes physical and mental imbalance of people in such circumstance. The main symptoms are excessive stress response, suppression or ignorance of daily activities, and limited capacities for self-care and recovery. The paper points out that effective psychological intervention can not only enhance peoples’ resilience and coping capacities, but also help people to restore their daily stability during and after the epidemic as quickly as possible. Based on this, the paper introduces the concept of action systems, analyzes the presentation of each action system under the COVID-19 epidemic, and proposes workable psychological intervention methods based on the perspective of action systems.
