Abstract:
“Stranger society” often occurs with an epidemic outbreak, and gives rise to interpersonal trust crisis, social fear, individual loneliness and other psychological illnesses. It not only strengthens the social anxiety in epidemic prevention and control, but also affects profoundly the rationalization of people and the order of society in the epidemic. This paper studies the real state of epidemic “stranger society” from the perspective of rationality, and finds that it is short-term rather than long-term, operational rather than moral, and group rationality rather than group irrationality. This requires the combination of strengthening the internal rational order of “stranger society” and weakening the external irrational order. The irrational order of the “stranger society” in the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic can be weakened by strengthening propaganda work, public opinion guidance and organizational management.
