Abstract:
Embodied-cognitive Linguistics, which is a new development form of organic linguistics in China under the cultural background of the Second Enlightenment, puts forward the core principle of "Reality-Cognition-Language", and the fundamental principle of iconicity in etymology. In the perspective of the theory, this paper have found that people is affected by the language philosophy thinking in the process of civilization development, and gradually formed experience mode of iconicity thinking. The Book of Songs and quote a poem to express an idea in the Spring and Autumn Period to the Bi-Xing symbol of the Songs of South, and from the Lian-Bian rhetoric of Ci-Fu in the Han and Wei dynasties to the emergence of Lian-Bian poetry and even Shen-Zhi style poetry of following generations. All these types of literature mentioned above are all artistic crystallization with Chinese characteristics under the influence of "iconicity" cognitive thinking mode.
