论英语学习过程中英-汉语言概念的思维趋同性作用

Similarity of Conceptual Thinking across Chinese-English Languages in English Learning

  • 摘要: 本文从英语学习的心理机制角度, 讨论了成年人英语学习信息加工过程中英-汉两种语言的"语言-思维结构"相互交叉作用, 分析了这一作用在概念结构上对成年人英语学习的思维趋同性的重要意义。作者明确指出, 成年人在英语学习中有机地借助母语的"语言-思维结构", 对英语学习不仅不会产生消极作用, 相反会起到促进作用。

     

    Abstract: From the perspective of English learning mental mechanism, this paper discusses the interaction of 'language and thinking structure'between the English and Chinese languages in the adults' English learning information processing and the significance of conceptual structure for the similarity of thinking across languages. It points out that the optional use of language-thinking structure of mother tongue will promote their English learning rather than hinder it.
