Abstract: The reform of cooperative and comprehensive integration of urban and rural development in Chengdu breaks the restrictions for economic and social development and becomes a progressive attempt to promote the comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable development of economic society.The success provides reference for other seven cities of Chengdu economic zone and even the whole country.Thus, whether Chengdu can make substantial development, and whether the development is more distinctive lie in the coordinated development of urban and rural areas, which is also the core of "1 + 7" development mode in Chengdu economic zone, and a positive foundation for its further development.The paper focuses on how cooperative and comprehensive integration of urban and rural development of Chengdu economic zone could be realized, proposes that collaboration of policy and system should be the key for cooperative and comprehensive integration of urban and rural development, and puts forward corresponding implementation measures.
