Abstract: Jiang Wan, the successor appointed by Zhu Geliang, was in Zhu's good graces for many years and known as 'Talent of the State'. Jiang Wan put people's stable life on the top priority after he took control of the state affairs. He developed the economy of Shu, adjusted strategies and helped ministers coordinate with the monarch to create a stable environment of Shu. During that time, border areas were peaceful and people were united. Therefore, Jiang Wan was regarded as the virtuous and talented minister after Zhu Geliang, above Jiang Wei in history.
