Abstract: At present, a unified concept of industrial chain has not been formed.Researches on the definition of industrial chain can be categorized into six types, and the conclusions vary with the research perspectives and discipline instruments.Among them, the perspective of industry organization emphasizing micro-analysis helps to clarify the nature of industrial chain.Thus, the industrial chain, as a mode of industry organization, is virtually an intermediate network organization with specific logical relation.
