Abstract: Bi Shu Lu Hua is a record of oral history told by Ye Mengde, a venerated old man, who was very influential in politics, military affairs, literature and culture at the turn of Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty.The book was compiled by his followers and son, recording many old stories and Ye's interesting experiences.These stories and experiences are very important to the revision and supplement of historical materials of Song Dynasty, thus frequently cited in later studies.And the book is thought highly as the classic of oral history in Song Dynasty.
