国外认知语言学方法指导下的词汇教学研究综述
A Review of Studies on Cognitive Linguistic Approaches to Teaching Vocabularies Abroad

摘要: 本文对近十多年来国外认知语言学方法指导下的词汇教学实验研究进行了综述, 这种词汇教学研究主要涉及两个方面: 语义延伸方式和语音延伸方式。前者主要涉及对学习者隐喻意识的培养是否有助于多义词意义的提取, 后者主要关于语音重复是否对词汇形式的提取有影响。从研究情况看, 语义延伸方式的研究较充分, 但仍存在不足, 需对实验材料和教学方法等加以完善; 语音延伸方式的研究目前局限于语块, 研究范围较窄, 需进一步拓宽研究对象。Abstract: This paper reviews the studies of Cognitive Linguistic Approaches to teaching vocabularies abroad in the last ten years, including semantic extension and sound extension.The former mainly concerns whether raising students' metaphorical awareness can be a great help for memorizing meanings of polysemies, yet the latter is mostly about whether sound repetition can influence the memorization of word forms.Both aspects need to be further studied, particularly the sound extension.As to the former, there exists the problems of transparency and length of words, and of improvement of teaching methods; while for the latter, the research should be broadened to some single words.
