Abstract: Based on the theory of intersubjectivity, this paper first expounds the cultural connotation in translation of culture-bound image in Chinese poetry, then discusses the relationship between culture-bound image translation and intersubjectivity from the perspective of cultural translation, and finally in translation cases it analyzes the enlightenment from intersubjectivity theory concerning the culture-bound image translation in Chinese ancient poetry and overcoming the untranslatability in translation.
