Abstract: Du Shenyan, a famous poet in early Tang dynasty, had rich life experience and many good friends, including Chen Zi'ang, Shen Quanqi, Song Zhiwen, Li Qiao, Cui Rong, Su Weidao, etc. An exploration his social interaction will further the study on the theme, content and artistic features of his poems.
