Abstract: With the establishment of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps in 1954, poetry of the Xinjiang Corps emerged and grew with the Corps' development.In the 1980s, the poetry of the Xinjiang Corps has become an influential poetry genre in the whole country, namely "New Frontier Poetry"."New Frontier Poetry" originated from poems written by military poets who entered the territory.During the 60 years of development, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have produced a number of excellent poets and poems."New Frontier Poetry" is the continuation of western frontier poetry in history. "New Frontier Poetry" rose in the 1950s and 1960s, flourished in the 1980s, and declined in the 1990s. The rise, formation, climax and decline of the "New Frontier Poetry" have certain development laws, which are closely related not only to the military status of the members of the Xinjiang Corps, but also to the development of the times.
