Abstract:
Language transfer has been a hot button in the research of language acquisition. In the field of third language acquisition (TLA), language transfer originates not only from learners' mother tongue, but also from their second language. From the perspective of third language acquisition (TLA), and under the guidance of the theory of language transfer, this paper focuses on the English majors' learning process of third language (French as second foreign language). This paper mainly discusses the influence of English towards the French learning process and the inspiration of how to make full use of the intertwined influence of language to boost the effiency and quality of French teaching as a second foreign language.
