Abstract:
The basic motivation of urban agglomeration development consists of the demands of enterprises, consumers, local governments, central governments and other subjects. The higher the degree of urban agglomeration development, the more complex the combination of its basic motivation. Nevertheless, in promoting the construction of urban agglomerations, resonance points of various subjects' interests can be found out according to the heterogeneity of economic ties within urban agglomerations under the established administrative management system, and moderate separation between economic zones and administrative zones can be promoted by perfecting administrative economic zones, setting up specific economic functional zones and delineating different economic related zones. Therefore, the main path of constructing Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is to choose the construction of metropolitan circle and city cluster on the basis of separation of economic zone and administrative zone, to carry forward the integration of some domains, and to promote the cooperation of adjacent areas.
