Abstract: Promoting the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and accelerating high-quality coordinated development of the two cities are of great significance for building a new development pattern with bigger domestic cycle as the main body and the domestic and international double cycles that promote each other, and forming China's new economic growth. It is necessary to establish a corresponding evaluation index system in order to analyze objectively and accurately the level and quality of coordinated development. This paper selects 20 evaluation indexes of regional economy, innovative development, people's lives and transportation in the process of coordinated development of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle as samples. Then it uses the principal component analysis method to calculate the scores of the four systems. Next, it analyzes the influencing factors of collaboration degree among the systems according to the scores of each system. Finally, this paper puts forward some policy suggestions, such as breaking down administrative barriers, strengthening regional cooperation, designing dynamic and static evaluation index, and establishing evaluation work cycle system and revision system.
