Abstract: Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, on the basis of profoundly explaining the connotation of cultural identity, Xi Jinping has made a series of important expositions on the issue of cultural identity. By elucidating the history of China civilization, Xi clarifys the primary question about "where the culture comes from". It points out that cultural identity is the root of national unity, and clarifies the core issue of "why is cultural identity important". Emphasizing a century-old plan and education as the foundation, it solved the key problem of "how to strengthen cultural identity", marking that the CPC Central Committee's understanding of the development law of cultural identity and its strengthening path has reached a new height.
