Abstract:
Digital technology is increasingly integrated into all aspects and processes of human social life, shaping a new form of human civilization known as digital civilization. This paper aims to explore the logic, structural landscape and rational thinking involved in shaping the space for ideological and political education from historical, realistic and developmental dimensions. In the historical dimension, understanding how digital technology shapes the space for ideological and political education is crucial for unlocking its potential and revealing the underlying logic of its transformation in the new era. The realistic dimension highlights the increasing integration and fusion of physical and virtual spaces in ideological and political education. The structure of this space has fundamentally changed and been reshaped. It encompasses four forms, i.e., physical existence space, network virtual space, social relationship space and spiritual life space. These dimensions involve both "objects" and "people". From a developmental perspective, it is essential to address the potential risks of digital technology. It is necessary to strike a balance between the benefits and drawbacks, techniques and principles, virtual and reality, and emotions and reason when shaping the space for ideological and political education. This will help overcome misconceptions about digital technology and proactively explore effective solutions.
