Abstract: This paper investigates the basic logic and the characteristics of the Block-chain technology, discusses the benefits and implications of this technology in the fields of economics and finance based on the introduction of Block-chain applications in both developed and developing countries with case analysis, while studying the problems appearing in Block-chain applications in our country. It asserts that healthy development of Block-chain should be under the government regulation. Any deviation from the real economy needs and pseudo innovation that avoid regulation will not only fail to boost the healthy and orderly growth of economy in China, but also jeopardize the stable operation of the financial system.
