Abstract: People's democracy, which embodies the unity of the Party spirit and people's character, has demonstrated its strong advantage in governance in the world's politics.But, the challenges faced by people's democracy cannot be ignored, not only because of the pressure of international ideological trend due to the lack of discourse power, but also because of institutional challenges such as internal Party spirit, bureaucracy, social structure and lack of democratic forms.The fundamental way to safeguard people's democracy is first to seize the "key minority" link in the overall strict management of the Party, remove those institutional arrangements that endanger people's livelihood in the structural reform, adhere to the Party's leadership in perfecting the democratic form, and construct an independent democratic discourse power based on China's political development.
