Abstract: This article defines the connotation of balanced development of public cultural service. Based on this definition, the bibliometric method is used in this paper to collect and analyze the research literature related to the research subject from 2015 to 2018, and it combines deep reading to reveal the research progress and clarify the current research deficiencies. The results show that the research on the balanced development of public cultural service in China is based on the three themes: the research status quo, the realization path and the service providers, all of which need to be improved in depth and breadth.
