Abstract: This paper reviews the history and achievements of discipline construction, and displays the development process and achievements of the discipline of Marxism-Leninism and Social Science (CPC History and Construction) in Sichuan since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago.In the 70 years, the discipline development of Marxism-Leninism and Social Science (CPC History and Construction) has experienced three periods:1) initial and infrastructure construction period(30 years before reform and opening-up); 2) the restoration and development period (from reform and opening-up to the 18th National Congress); 3)the perfection and deepening period (since the 18th National Congress).After 70 years of construction and development, remarkable achievements have been made in the discipline planning and arrangement of Marxism-Leninism and Social Science (CPC History and Construction) in Sichuan, which has formed a series of discipline layout and development trends with clear orientation, specific objectives and perfect content system.
