Abstract: It is of great theoretical significance and practical value to make an outline of the developing process and achievements of philosophy in Sichuan for seventy years, at the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.Sichuan Philosophy has breathed with the motherland and shared her destiny, and has embarked on a road of struggle with Sichuan characteristics and Chinese style during these seventy years. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Sichuan philosophy has experienced three developing stages: 1)tortuous developing stage: from the founding of the People's Republic of China to the reform and opening up, 2)prosperous developing stage: from the reform and opening up to the end of the 20th century, 3)interdisciplinary, infiltration, and integration stage: from the 21 century up to now. In the new era, Sichuan philosophy will follow the national academic hotspot, take root in Bashu and have the whole world in view.And based on traditional dominant disciplines, Sichuan philosophy will actively develop interdisciplinary disciplines, and make its own contributions in strengthening the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional culture, promoting the construction of philosophy with Chinese characteristics, the religion discipline and academic system, and enhancing cultural self-confidence.
